A Feathered Essentials Recipe
🌿Rooted in Faith. Growing in Grace. Living Free-Range.🌿
When the weather turns chilly or your home just needs a little extra warmth, this Vegetable Beef Soup is the perfect comfort meal. It’s hearty, flavorful, and packed with nourishing goodness—plus a beautiful way to incorporate therapeutic doTERRA oils into your kitchen.
This recipe is a Brennan-family favorite because it’s simple, wholesome, and fills the house with the most incredible aroma while it cooks. Just chop, drop, and let the crockpot do the work!
🥣 Ingredients
1 lb ground or shredded beef
4 carrots, sliced
3 stalks of celery, chopped
½ onion, diced
3 cups chicken or beef broth
6 tablespoons Solé (or 50/50 salt brine mixture)
The Blend:
2 drops Oregano
2 drops Thyme
2 drops Basil
2 drops Rosemary
2 drops Celery Seed
🍲 Instructions
Brown your beef (if using ground beef) and drain if needed. If using shredded beef, you can add it straight into the crockpot.
Add carrots, celery, onions, and broth into your crockpot.
Stir in Solé and your essential oil blend.
Cover and cook on High for 2.5 hours or Low for 5–6 hours.
Give it a taste, adjust salt if needed, and serve warm.
✨ Why Add Essential Oils?
Cooking with doTERRA oils is a beautiful way to infuse your meals with flavor and natural benefits. They’re potent, pure, and a little goes a long way—especially in hearty soups like this one.
These oils support:
Immune health (oregano, thyme)
Digestive wellness (celery seed, basil)
Respiratory comfort (rosemary)
A rich, herb-filled flavor without needing fresh herbs on hand
Just make sure you’re using CPTG-certified oils—which is why we trust doTERRA.
🍽 Serve It With
A slice of sourdough
A sprinkle of Parmesan
A fresh salad
Or just a big cozy bowl all on its own
